You can play without creating an account. Gridlapse is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children.

Information on your device

The 3D game saves separate memory and practice high scores and your sound preference in your browser. Classic 2D retains its existing high score, achievements, tutorial completion, and sound and haptics settings. Opening 3D does not erase your Classic data. Game files may be cached so you can play offline. The game does not upload these saved scores or settings.

Advertising

Advertising is currently disabled. The game works offline after its files have been downloaded.

When enabled, standard Google AdSense display ads may appear below the home menu and Route lost results on phones and narrow windows, on either side of the menu and game on wide desktop screens, and below the full guide. Ads are separated from game controls. Phone banner placements are removed when you start or retry a run. Reading the guide or playing the game does not require clicking an ad, and display ads do not grant game rewards.

When Google advertising services are loaded, they may process information such as your IP address, device and browser details, identifiers and ad interactions, and may use cookies or similar storage according to your consent and applicable settings. Website delivery and measurement

The service hosting this website receives the network information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address and requested pages. This version does not include a separate gameplay analytics service.

Deleting saved information

Clear this site’s data in your browser settings to remove local saves and cached files. Removing a home-screen icon may not erase browser storage. Clearing local saves does not erase records held separately by hosting or advertising providers; refer to those providers’ privacy controls and retention policies.
